Learn about yarns, needles, English vs. Continental knitting, checking gauge, casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, variations, and reading patterns. Practice knitting coaster sized swatches and gain confidence to carry skills to future projects.
For participants High School aged and older, previous experience not required, however, crochet skills would be helpful. Participants should bring a project tote bag, a measuring tape and a pair of small sharp scissors.
Kit will include 1 skein of yarn (color may vary), 1 pair of needles and a copy of “The Knitting Answer Book”, second edition.
