Interested in some parent/child “bonding” time!? In this class, you and a child learn the fundamentals and safety associated with MIG welding, practice welding, and take home a welded bird sculpture that you collaboratively make using old silverware. Age 10 and up. Note: $225 per parent/child duo (limit two duos per class)
Please make sure to wear natural fiber clothing (i.e. cotton versus polyester) and closed-toed shoes. If you wear corrective lenses, contacts are better than glasses. We provide all safety equipment.
*The class takes place in an outdoor setting that is covered, and is subject to Maryland’s seasonal weather conditions. Please take these factors into account when signing up for this workshop during the winter and summer seasons, as our cancellation policy is firm.
